Nick Devigal
My interest in martial arts began in my youth, inspired by the early days of the UFC. I started training in high school wrestling and was introduced to Brazilian jiu-jitsu in 2010. After focusing on weight training and calisthenics post-high school, life got in the way, and I took a break, gaining weight and falling out of shape. About three years ago, I discovered Mindset Martial Arts and have been consistent with training ever since. I've lost over 35 lbs, getting back on the mats and improving my health and nutrition. I started coaching a year ago, with a communication-based style that relies heavily on feedback. I tailor workouts and drills to the skill level and readiness of my students, helping new practitioners while also drilling advanced techniques with competitors.
